ASTM B117 Salt Spray Solution

Salt Spray Testing is the industry standard for verifying the corrosion resistance of plated metal deposits.  The American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) has developed an internationally standardized testing method.  Metalline Corporation manufactures an ASTM certified solution to accommodate this procedure.

• METALLINE ASTM B-117 SALT SPRAY SOLUTION is a premixed, ASTM Standardized and certified neutral salt spray solution for use in Salt Spray Cabinets testing to ASTM B-117.  The B-117 SALT SPRAY SOLUTION is boiled and standardized with National Institute of Standards (NIST) buffers for consistent and accurate pH readings.  Each drum of METALLINE ASTM B-117 is nitrogen sealed and includes a Certificate of Analysis, which is often required by ISO, QS and NADCAP auditors.
