TRIVALENT BLUE BRIGHT CHROMATES
Trivalent Chromates are a more environmentally friendly alternatives to those containing hexavalent chrome. The chemimstry has changed, but the principle of reducing the oxidation of zinc metal is the same. Metalline Chemical Corporation manufactures several chromates that provide a wide range of protection over zinc plated deposits.
METALLINE 188 is a cost effective liquid trivalent blue-bright chromate for chloride, cyanide and alkaline zinc plated deposits. METALLINE188 produces a very consistent blue-bright color with low make up and replenishment costs. Excellent results are achieved in both rack and barrel plating operations.
TP-105 is a high protection liquid trivalent blue-bright chromate for chloride, cyanide and alkaline zinc plated deposits. TP-105 deposits a thick chromate film layer that provides improved corrosion resistance and an excellent base for colored dyes. TP-105 is a single component concentrated formulation that is easy to make up and maintain. With the high cost trivalent chromates on the market today, TP-105 offers a user friendly, single component cost effective alternative.
HI TEST™ CC-3 is a high protection single component liquid trivalent blue-bright chromate for chloride, cyanide and alkaline zinc plated deposits. HI TEST™ CC-3 provides improved corrosion protection over most “high protection” chromates. HI TEST™ CC-3 maintains its color and much of its corrosion resistance even after baking for hydrogen embrittlement relief. With the high cost trivalent chromates on the market today, HI TEST™ CC-3 provides a user friendly, single component cost effective alternative.
